NavFile Storage Customers,
As you may be aware, one of our data center locations in North Carolina went down yesterday morning as a result of wind and flooding from Hurricane/Tropical Storm Helene. The data center maintained power during and after the storm; however, around 8 AM on Friday, it lost internet connectivity with all of its internet carriers. As a result, several NavFile Storage instances hosted at that data center are not accessible at this time.
Our data center partner has not provided an estimate on when internet/network connectivity will be reestablished. The data center has advised that the internet carriers are working with local power companies to repair components that are needed for their networks to function. Our North Carolina data center partner is a few miles from a Fortune 20 technology company’s data center. It is our expectation that the region’s dependence on data center connectivity will lead to a quick restoration of the network.
NavFile will remain active throughout the weekend to do what we can to restore service as soon as possible. Please feel free to contact us via email or phone if you have any questions.
This page will have the latest updates and information about the efforts to restore service.
